Clean the North- East corner (eesanyam). To know the direction navigate to this page Vaastu Directions. Make beautiful rangoli with rice flour and keep a wooden sitting small stool to place the God's Idle or God'sphoto. Apply haldi(pasupu) to stool and decorate it with Asta dhala padama rangoli. Make sure the rangoli should be made with rice flour. The asta dhala padma is a place of residence for Lakshmi Devi. Note : -The Stool 's height should not be too height or too low.
Make a tamring Ganapathi and place it on Thamalapaku. Decorate Ganapthi with tilak and flowers. After decorating we can start the Puja.
The Ganapathi Puja should be started by chanting the below slokhas
Sukhlam baradharam vishnum sasivarnam chathurbujam
prasannavadanam dhayeth sarwa vignopashanthaey
aagajaanana padmaarkam gajaanana maharnisam
aneykadamtam bakthanam ekadantha mupasmahey
